About That Action: NFL Gambling Picks Week 5

We are officially a quarter way through the season and it is time to determine which teams are going to continue to cover the spread each and every week, as well as which teams tend to hit the over or under. Only two teams have been perfect so far against the spread; the Packers and Seahawks. On the other hand there are a whopping FOUR teams that have failed to cover the spread thus far. Cowboys, Texans, Titans and well you can guess the last one. The Jets. Ugh.
The Saints are the lone team to hit the over in all four of their games while the Cardinals have the best ‘under’ clip at 3-0-1.

Cowboys -8.5
Yup the Cowboys are 0-4 ATS this year and sitting at 1-3, but this is a must win game. The NFC East is wide open and I think the ‘Boys make a massive statement and put up 30+ points blowing out the depleted Giants. Dak has been great this year. They have scored at least 30 points in 3/4 games this year...make it 4/5 come Sunday.
Picks
Bengals +12
This pick can come back to bite me but I really like what Joe Burrow has been doing this season, covering the spread in 3/4 games as well. If anything Burrow and the Bengals will get a back door cover but I strongly believe this game is closer than people think. Those AFC North matchups are also fun.
Raiders vs Chiefs O55
We all know what the Chiefs offense is capable of. Vegas was able to put up 23 and 20 on the elite Bills and Patriots defenses respectively. We can assume Mahomes shreds the Raiders secondary, can Vegas keep pace? Not necessarily. But if we see them put up 21+ points then consider this over cashed.
Rams -7.5
Enter Kyle Allen, who had the lowest rated passer in the NFC a year ago. With no Brandon Scherff on the O-line, Aaron Donald is going to have a field day. Jalen Ramsey will shadow Terry Mclaurin all day and Charles Sims was just placed on IR. Even if Chase Young returns from injury, it won’t be enough to stop this high powered offense. Jared Goff will go for 300 yards and 3 TDs as the Rams roll.

I cooked up two parlays this weekend. One safer, one that involves way more risk. Who knows maybe next week I’ll add a teaser too!

Cardinals ML, Rams ML, 49ers ML
All teams have great matchups and are expected to win comfortably. Don’t over think this one. This is free money.
Parlay #2 (+1290)
Let’s parlay all my picks! I typically HATE doing that but why not give it a shot this week? I’m due for a perfect week, is this week it? In these types of parlays I like to buy points so if you have the option to buy a point or two, do it. It barely lowers the odds and you get some free points. I have won some parlays from buying points so always keep that in mind.
